During our one month break from soccer, we were assigned not only to run every day, but to compile a list of seven colleges we would like to attend. That go me to thinking that this is going to be my last summer of freedom.....next summer I'm probably going to have to get a summer job and do some volunteer work..I'm going to have to be studying for my SAT's and catching up on my greek and latin roots for the ACT's. Not that any of that is a bad thing, because I am super excited for college. I'm excited to push myself and to learn without having to worry about the distractions of high school drama. My classes will be filled with people want to learn and are thrilled about the aspect what the professor is saying rather than kids who have to be threatened to the Dean's office if they don't pay attention. It is going to be hard having to fend for myself finally, and to be away from my family, but I know with their support I will be able to make it. Oh, who am I trying to kid...I'm gonna super miss them! I'm hoping to go to a college that is only two and half hours away from home, so that should make it a little bit more bearable.
